Came to Singapore for the first time, the Women in IT Awards Asia 2019 aimed to readdress gender imbalance within the tech sector. By showcasing the achievements of women in the sector and identifying new role models, the Women in IT Awards Asia 2019 shines a light on female talent achieving success in the sector.
We are proud to announce that Our Founder, Shikha Gupta, was one of the finalists for the category – Young Leader of the Year 2019, This category addresses A female IT, technology or business leader under the age of 35 or someone who turns 35 in 2018, who has progressed rapidly though their career and demonstrated business value and innovation through the use of technology.
Since its launch in 2015, the Women in IT Awards have showcased women in technology in London, New York, Dublin, and San Francisco. Organized by business-technology site Information Age, the Women in IT Awards Asia acts as a flagship and high-profile platform to support the industry in its mission to move the dial on gender.
Offering a series of awards, ranging from CIO of the year through to Young Leader of the Year, the program provides a platform to identify females at all levels achieving great things in Asia.
